Description: Absolutely Stunning Victorian Marquetry Inlaid Center Table with an ebony background that displays a centerpiece with tambourine, pipes, hat with ribbons, and wide petal flowers. The depth and contrast of rich colors on this table top is exquisite. On the base is one of the best examples of fine original ebony highlights with gilt incising that we have seen! Exquisite open work with a spindled stretcher and full carved decorative apron all around. Notice the winged gargoyles facing elaborate urns at either end of the table surface. This is one of the best marquetry tables we have had. The photos only begin to do it justice!
